Joseph is a Psychotherapist specializing in individual counselling and psychotherapy with adults, and maintains a private practice in Thornhill, Ontario Canada.

With over 18 years experience as a clinician, and a graduate of Adler School of Professional Psychology specializing in Adlerian psychotherapy, he is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among his areas of expertise are treatment of eating disorders, adult life transitions counselling, grief and loss counselling and psychotherapy for the purpose of promoting greater self understanding, growth and spiritual development.

Joseph is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. His treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. He incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, he works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

Licensure:

Currently the Province of Ontario is implementing the licensure of Psychotherapists.  The Psychotherapy Act 2007 requires the establishment of the College of Psychotherapists and Registered Mental Health Therapists.  I fully support this process and will pursue Licensure once this Act is fully implemented and proclaimed.
